Terms of Use

Last updated: August 27, 2026

1. Acceptance

By using InstantBillOfSale (the "Site"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. No legal advice

The Site provides general-purpose document templates and general information. Nothing on the Site is legal advice, and using the Site does not create an attorney-client relationship. Vehicle-transfer requirements vary by state, county, and situation, and they change over time. You are responsible for verifying that any document you generate meets the current requirements that apply to your transaction — consult your state DMV or a licensed attorney when in doubt.

3. Free service, no warranty

The Site and its documents are provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We work to keep state-rule information current (each rule shows a "last reviewed" date), but we do not guarantee it.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InstantBillOfSale and its operators shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site or any document generated with it, including rejected filings, disputed transactions, tax assessments, or any indirect or consequential damages.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site to create documents for fraudulent transactions, to misrepresent a sale price, or for any unlawful purpose. You may use generated documents for your own personal or business transactions without restriction.

6. Intellectual property

The Site's design, text, and code are the property of InstantBillOfSale. Documents you generate with your own information are yours.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
